Those were the times

when you cared for me

when you wrapped your soul around mine

when you help me not 

to split into pieces

Those were the times when you loved,

when you taught me the way of survival

after panic attacks

you lifted me off the ground

when i found myself broken

Those were the times when nothing mattered

to you except me 

you treated me like your queen 

the queen who ruled your world

you always helped me to grow

beautifully

Yes! those were  the times when 

you used to do anything for me

i still remember you, bringing chocolates 

when i felt myself worthless

Those were the times when

you held my hand 

after I'd lost myself 

around those snakes 

Those were the times

for which i am yearning for 

and dying for 

but you never came back

and you never lend your shoulder to cry on 

the way you used to do years ago.

Still I am thanking you for giving me 

such beautiful memories.
